HISTORY
It owes its name to an anecdote of the visit of king Sancho IV of Castilla «El Bravo» to Madrid.

When he passed by this street riding, it´s said that his montera (cloth cap) fell off without he or his companions notice it, so when he realized, flew into a fit rage.
