An alley with the same name, leads to this small and charming square in the historic centre of Madrid. In this alley -the convent of San Ginés serves as one of its sides – was one of the first factories of textures. Here too, the bookshop of San Ginés was founded in the year 1650 and is one of the oldest libraries of Spain, whose name makes reference to this saint.
We can also find in «Plazuela de San Ginés» one of the most famous chocolate factories in the city.
