    From September 8, 1908, when the ceramist Juan Ruiz de Luna lights his first kiln in the Alfar Nuestra Señora del Prado, thus reborn the famous Ceramics of Talavera de la Reina, his successors have maintained the tradition in the noble Art of pottery.

    At the beginning of the decade of the 80, Alfredo Ruiz de Luna, grandson of the founder of the saga of potters begins its artistic trajectory.

    He made hundreds of decorations in Ceramics for the city of Madrid, as well as for various establishments throughout our geography. Between 1992 and 2012, he designed and painted 385 ceramic plates on the streets of the historic center of Madrid.

    Since 1993, Juan Ruiz de Luna, great-grandson of the founder of the saga and nephew of Alfredo Ruiz de Luna, continues with the tradition family ceramist.

    After a period of 5 years on the island of Ibiza making decorations for various places, in 2011 he founded in collaboration with Alfredo Ruiz de Luna the company Las Calles del Viejo Madrid. Serve then as recognition and shows part of the work of Ruiz de Luna the website you are visiting.
