One of the most interesting streets of Madrid. It was dedicated to the people and to the inhabitants of the villages of the region, with various accommodation and business premises for the purchase and sale of their products. Was prolonged in times of Felipe II, because until then only came up to the hospital La Latina.
The current street Toledo was built in times of Fernando VII. Also illustrious inhabited houses in this street, as were the count of Humanes, the dukes of Roca or the count of Lerena, minister of Carlos III.
